Financial aid assistance

The office is responsible for administering traditional federal and state financial aid programs including grants, loans and work-study. Students should apply for financial aid using the . The ÂÌñÉç Financial Aid office also administers programs benefiting many students including veterans, scholarship recipients, and students with disabilities. is also administered by the ÂÌñÉç Financial Aid Office.

Many programs administered by the ÂÌñÉç Financial Aid office have limited funds. Students who apply early have a much better chance of obtaining all the assistance for which they might be eligible. Most federal and state programs require students to be enrolled in at least six credit hours per semester.

Historically, the FAFSA has been available beginning Oct. 1 each year. However, because of significant changes to the application and the rebuild of the FAFSA processing system, the 2024-25 FAFSA will not be available until sometime in December 2023.
